The Myth of Separation has 3 Knots:

  1. The knot of pain

  2. The knot of discontent

  3. The knot of perspective

This week we’re exploring the knot of pain 🪢

All humans experience pain (physical, relational, existential, etc.)

Pain is not the problem

The problem is our relationship to it

I’m not suggesting pain doesn’t suck…or that we should like it…or “positive think” our way out of it (no bypassing here!)

I am suggesting that a doorway opens when we don’t resist pain

When we meet our pain with presence, the knot is loosened and it becomes a transformative force that awakens possibilities

We suffer less

Kundalini Yoga Kriyas can often illicit intense physical, mental and emotional feelings as a type of “purifying pressure”

And when we practice being present with these strong sensations, it builds resiliency

We learn to trust that we can do hard things

It builds confidence in our physical, mental and emotional capacities

And when we suffer less, so do those around us

Many of us want to lessen the suffering in the world

Start with yourself, and let the ripple effects spread 😊
