Where are my people pleasers out there?!? (Me!) Why is that such a hard pattern to change? Because it works. We’ve been rewarded and praised throughout our lives for meeting other people’s expectations…so we keep doing it and it becomes a habit.

We’ve been taught to receive acknowledgement from the outside. We wait for authority figures (and anyone we’ve given our power away to) to give us validation…in hopes of receiving love and belonging - 2 basic human needs.

We can practice using each moment of people pleasing as a wake up call to our authentic true self. We can begin to acknowledge ourselves in each moment with appreciation. Who are you to yourself, no matter how you are (or aren’t) seen by others?

From my experience, making this kind of energy shift can’t happen with just my thoughts. Working directly with the energy through Kundalini Yoga can be so effective in helping to create new patterns and habits. I can’t explain it…but from my experience, I know that it works.
