Words are great. Until they’re not. When I teach, I consciously choose the best words possible. But inevitably, they’ll miss the mark. Because words fall short of the actual experience.

If I’m teaching about the moon…and I point to it…don’t mistake my hand for the moon. Don’t be distracted by my nail polish or rings. LOOK AT THE MOON.

That’s how teachings are. They point to something that has to be experienced. Trust your own experience.
